Mike Lefton
Executive Chairman
Mike represents the second generation of the Lefton family to lead the Metal Exchange family of companies. Mike has spent his entire working career at Metal Exchange and prior to becoming CEO in 2010 held a variety of roles under the leadership of his father, Metal Exchange founder Morris Lefton. Mike holds an MBA from Washington University and a Bachelor’s Degree from the University of Missouri.
Matt Rohm
President and CEO
Prior to being named President and CEO in 2023, Matt was promoted to Chief Operating Officer in 2022 after joining Metal Exchange as Chief Financial Officer in 2016. He previously accrued over 20 years of financial and operational leadership experience having served in positions with The Boeing Company, Anheuser-Busch InBev, Energizer and SunEdison. Additionally, Matt holds a Bachelor of Science degree in industrial engineering from Bradley University and an MBA from Washington University in St. Louis’ Olin School of Business.
Rick Merluzzi
Executive Vice Chairman
Rick has served as a dedicated leader at Metal Exchange for over 17 years. During that time, he oversaw dramatic growth with numerous impactful endeavors. Having stepped down from his role as CEO at the start of 2023, Rick has assumed the title of Executive Vice Chairman, serving as an advisor to Executive Chairman, Mike Lefton, on key strategic initiatives for the organization. Rick holds an MBA from Drexel University and a Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering from Pennsylvania State University.
Dan Jarvis
CFO, Trading and Corporate Services
Since joining Metal Exchange in 2013, Dan has served in a number of accounting and finance positions. In his current role as CFO, he leads global treasury, credit, compliance and reporting along with all trading, corporate accounting, and finance. Dan holds a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and Business Admin-Finance, as well as a Master of Accountancy from Truman State University.
Dave McCoy
CFO, Manufacturing
Dave joined Metal Exchange in 2016. In his current role as CFO, Dave leads all finance, accounting, and treasury activities for Metal Exchange’s manufacturing businesses. He holds an MBA from Saint Louis University and a Bachelor’s Degree in Business from Belmont University.
Vijay Natarajan
President, Trading
Since joining Metal Exchange in 2007, Vijay has built strong customer relationships while progressing through roles of increasing responsibility in the company’s scrap, remelt scrap ingot, and value-added product businesses. He was named Executive Vice President of the Trading Division in 2019.
Mark Butterfield
President, Manufacturing
With more than 30 years of experience in the aluminum extrusion industry, Mark Butterfield serves as President of Manufacturing, which includes the Pennex and Electro Cycle brands. An established industry leader, he also serves the Aluminum Extruders Council (AEC) in multiple positions, including that of Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors, Chairman of the Automotive Committee, and Vice Chairman of Extrusion Technology 2024.
Tom Marklin
Vice President, Information Technology
Tom has been with the organization since 2004. Tom leads all enterprise-wide IT initiatives and holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering from Iowa State University.
Becky Parisi
Vice President, Human Resources
Becky, who holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Business from Lindenwood University and Advanced Human Resource Executive Education Certificate from the University of Michigan-Ross, joined Metal Exchange in 2015. In the time since, she has brought significant value and leadership to the Human Resources team.
Allison Schiller
Vice President, Marketing and Communications
Allison joined Metal Exchange in January of 2023 as Vice President of Marketing and Communications. From developing clever and innovative brand growth strategies to implementing data-driven campaigns, she has nearly twenty years of marketing and creative leadership experience, across multiple organizations and industries. Allison holds a Bachelor’s degree from Washington University in St. Louis.
Jeff Rosenblum
General Counsel
Jeff has been with the Metal Exchange organization since 2011. He holds a Juris Doctorate from Washington University as well as a Bachelor’s Degree from the University of Pennsylvania.
